Bluetooth TAG

Since 2018 our Bluetooth Tags have become a firm favourite with our customers. Designed to be the longest range, loudest and most compatible Bluetooth finders on the market, they pack a mighty punch when it comes to helping you keep track of your things.

Tags can be shared among friends, family or colleagues so everyone can see that important set of keys or the family suitcase for example. Office key management becomes seamless when sharing Tags inside our Circles platform.

Can’t find your phone? Even if you left it on silent, Tag can force it to ring loudly for you, to help you find it quicker.

Our smart alerts can automatically notify you if you leave your Tagged item behind and you can even set your Tag to ring if you’ve left your phone behind!

Touch TAG

Our aluminium smart TAGs are equipped with QR technology to help reunite pets, people and items. User profile and pet profile is visible to anyone who scans your TouchTAG and the gps location of the TAG is shown to the owner.  

The TAGS are waterproof and no battery is required, making this an affordable staple item for everyone.

Is Letstrack free?

Yes, the Letstrack app is free to download and use for Circles tracking and basic TAG tracking.  If you would like to unlock all our features, then there are various subscription offers available.  For example, Vehicle monitoring, Tag Premium and Circles Premium. 

What phones will run Letstrack?

Letstrack works on iPhones and Android devices. This app can be easily installed on any smart phone that has GPS (whether Android or iOS). It is available both on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store. The installation process is easy and user friendly.

Is my information on Letstrack secure?

Yes, we use bank level SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption and other security protocols. Users also get additional unique login password protection to ensure safety while using the web version.

Does the app drain my phone battery?

Whilst any app which uses location services has an increased battery usage, ours has a carefully designed algorithm to minimize any negative effects on your battery life. For example, the app doesn’t update your location unless the accelerometer detects movement.

How do I access my Letstrack settings?

Settings is found on the bottom-right corner of the app home screen.

How do I setup and use Letstrack?

Follow the below steps to setup Letstrack after downloading at app:

Step 1: Press the 'lets go' icon located at the bottom of welcome screen.
Step 2: Enter first & last name. 
Step 3: Enter your mobile number (the country selection will be auto generated).
Step 4: Press OK.
Step 5: Wait for a few seconds for the verification code and enter that into the app.
Step 6: Press 'OK'.
 Step 7: Allow Letstrack to run on background and access your location.

Now you are set to enjoy the incredible experience of free real-time tracking.

Are there any limits on tracking people/devices?

Letstrack allows tracking of phones and devices free for up to 3 Circles or vehicles.  Above this amount we offer a Premium subscription.

How do I access my Letstrack settings?

Letstrack Settings can be found by clicking on ‘Settings’ located in the menu.

How can I change my profile picture or profile name?

To change your profile picture, simply follow these steps:

Step 1: Click on the ‘menu’ icon on the home screen.
Step 2: Click on the pencil icon and you can change your profile picture from here.

How do I stop media from downloading automatically?

Step 1: Click on ‘Settings’ in the app menu
Step 2: Click the ‘App Settings’.
Step 3: In the ‘Save Incoming Media’ bar, you are then able to toggle between on and off.  

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Please check your data connection and allow Letstrack to run in background.  Then follow these steps:

Step 1: Click on ‘Settings’ in the app menu
Step 2: Click on the 'Notifications and Alerts’ bar.
Step 3: Click the icon ‘All Notifications’ to toggle between the on /off option.

Why is the scale of distance on my map in miles and not in km?

To adjust the unit of measurement, simply follow these steps:


Step 1: Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the home screen
Step 2: Click on ‘App Settings’
Step 3: Toggle the ‘Measurement Unit’ between Mile/KM.

What are Circles?

Circles is a unique feature of the Letstrack app that groups people’s location on a single map, whether it be family members, work colleagues or friends. Each person in the Circle can share their location for a select period of time. You can see how fast the member is driving, the battery percentage of their phone and know when they leave or arrive at a certain destination.  It’s smart tracking that you are in control of.

How do I create a Circle?

To create a Circle, follow these simple steps:


Step 1: Open the Letstrack app
Step 2: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen
Step 3: Select to + button
Step 4: Name your Circle, choose an icon or photo and select the Circle type.  You can also decide at this point if you would this Circle displayed on your home screen as your default Circle.
Step 5: Click on ‘Next’ and select your chosen timeframe.  You also have the option here to select to remove the deactivated circle on the home screen.
Step 6:  Once you have set your preferences, click ‘Invite’ and share the invite code.

How to invite new members to a Circle?

To add a new member to an existing Circle, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Letstrack app.
Step 2: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 3: Select the relevant Circle.
Step 4: Select ‘Invite’
Step 5: Select the appropriate method for sending this request and send to the recipient.

How do I join a Circle?

You can join a circle in one of the following ways:

1: You can accept a tracking request directly via the method used to share the link. 

2: You can also join a Circle by entering the unique Circle code manually into the app.  To do this follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Letsrack app.
Step 2: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 3: Select the + button
Step 4: Select ‘Join Circle’
Step 4: Enter the unique code issued by the circle creator.
Step 5: Click ‘Next.

How do I leave a Circle?

If you wish to leave a Circle before the Circle’s expiry time, following these steps:

Step 1: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 2: Swipe left on the relevant Circle
Step 3: Select ‘Leave Circle’.

How do I re-activate an expired Circle?

Expired Circles can easily be re-activated by the Circle creator, as follows:

Step 1: Open the Letstrack app.
Step 2: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 3: Swipe left on the relevant Circle
Step 4: Select the ‘Reactivate’ on the relevant Circle.

How do I change my default Circle?

You can manage the view of your default Circle on your home screen as follows:

Step 1: Select the ‘Circles’ icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 2: Swipe left on the relevant Circle 
Step 3: Select ‘Mark as default’

What is full time tracking?

Full time tracking request refers to the permission to track someone 24/7.

What is the use of ‘Places’?

By adding places in the app, you can choose to receive notifications when a member arrives and leaves that place.

How do I add a Place?

Step 1: Open the Letstrack app.
Step 2: Click on ‘Menu’ at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 3: Select ‘Places’.
Step 4: Click on the + sign
Step 5: Search for the address in the address bar and select the correct address.
Step 6: Enter the desired Zone name and save.

How do I delete a Place?

Follow these steps to delete a place:

Step 1: Open the Letstrack app.
Step 2: Click on ‘Menu’ at the bottom of the home screen.
Step 3: Select ‘Places’.
Step 4: Swipe left on the relevant location to delete the place. 

Can I send my location to anyone?

Yes, you can send your location to anyone whether they are using Letstrack or not.  To do this click on ‘Current location’ or ‘Live location’ on the homescreen. 

How do I change my map view between street and satellite view?

Click on the layer icon on the top right of the map.  This will enable you to navigate between ‘Default, Terrain, Satellite and Hybrid’ view.

Can anyone that has this app and my number track me?

Absolutely not.  For you or your devices to be visible by anyone, you (and only you) provide authorization.

What is TAG for?

Find everything that matters to you with Letstrack TAG. Our Bluetooth devices and handy app makes everything easier to find. Our TAG helps you to locate everyday essentials such as your keys, wallet, phone, child’s belongings and even your dog’s lead; helping you to stay organized and efficient throughout your day.

How does TAG work?

During set up, the Letstrack app on your smartphone "discovers" the Bluetooth enabled TAG and establishes a connection. Letstrack TAG then uses the location services of your smartphone to communicate up-to-date location information to the app.

How do I add a TAG to the Letstrack app?

To add a TAG in the Letstrack app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the Letstrack app on your smartphone or tablet
Step 2: Register the Letstrack app with your mobile number 
Step 3: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the app home screen 
Step 4: Follow the on-screen steps to add the relevant TAG 
Step 5: Attach the TAG to your personal belongings
Step 6: Add as many TAG’s as you like

You’re all set! You are now ready to use your Letstrack TAG!

What is the working range of Letstrack’s TAG?

Letstrack TAG works via Bluetooth. Bluetooth is most effective at the 40 ft range, depending on the environment. The Bluetooth range can extend up to 260 ft when there is a clear line of sight from the device to the TAG.  

Some of the factors that can interfere with your Bluetooth signal:

  • Other Bluetooth devices
  • Other WiFi devices
  • Thicker walls. 

Do I need internet access to use my TAG?

You do not need to have an internet connection to find a nearby TAG, as it uses Bluetooth to connect.
The Lestrack app will also remember the last known location when your TAG was connected to your phone. 

Can I keep my TAG connected to Bluetooth whilst I'm in the air?

Letstrack TAG is a low-powered Bluetooth device. While most airlines permit Bluetooth use, we recommend you consult with the airline's specific policies regarding Bluetooth devices to avoid any complications. 


If the airline permits Bluetooth technology, simply switch your device to airplane mode but keep Bluetooth on.

Is my TAG's battery safe to pack in check-in and carry-on luggage?

Yes. All Letstrack TAGs have non-rechargeable lithium batteries, similar to those used in wrist watches. You can pack them in both check-in and carry-on luggage. They are not restricted by aviation or transportation authorities. For more information about what you can pack, you can consult the applicable airport authority.

What is the battery life?

Your TAG's battery life is expected to last up to 2 years depending on usage.

Is the TAG battery rechargeable? 

No, you need to replace your TAG battery when required.

How do I replace my TAG's battery?

How do I use TAG with my pets? 

Letstrack TAG is a perfect fit for in the home, but is not a GPS tracker, so it is not designed to track real-time movements. Because the TAG uses Bluetooth, you might have trouble finding your pet outside of a 260 ft. range.

Hang or attach a TAG onto your pet’s collar and use the Letstrack app to find them faster when they are within the TAG’s range. Additionally, adding a TAG to your dog’s lead ensures that your dog’s walks are never delayed.

Caution: Letstrack TAG should not be attached to chew toys or related items to avoid choking hazards.

How do I use my TAG as a camera remote? 

Follow the steps to take a selfie:
Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘ TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen
Step 3: Select the TAG that you wish to use
Step 4: Click on ‘Take Selfie’ 
Step 5: Position your phone then click the button on the TAG to take the photo

How do I locate my lost items?

Follow these simple steps to find your items:
Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen 
Step 3: Select the TAG that you wish to find 
Step 4: Click the ‘Play sound’ button to ring your device

Please note: You can only find the TAG when it is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

How do I mark my TAG as lost?

Follow these simple steps to mark your item as lost:
Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen 
Step 3: Select the relevant TAG 
Step 4: Click the ‘Mark As Lost’ 

When another Letstrack user comes within range of your TAG, you will be notified.
You can also mark your item as ‘Found’ when your TAG has been located, by following the above steps.

How does the Letstrack lost and found community help me find my item? 

Don’t worry, if you lose something our Letstrack community of more than 650,000 users will help you. Once you mark your device as lost, it gets registered with our network and whenever a Letstrack user is in the vicinity, the TAG gets connected to the available Bluetooth and sends the location to you. The app notifies you instantly with your item’s current location.

How do I change my Letstrack TAG alert sound?

Letstrack uses a default alert sound to find your device easily. In order to change the alert please follow the below instructions:
Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen 
Step 3: Select the relevant TAG 
Step 4: Scroll to ‘Alert Sound’
Step 5: Select an alert sound and press ‘Save’

How do I set up Separation Alerts for my TAG?

Get smart notifications when you leave the house without your items.  To enable this feature, follow the below instructions:

Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen 
Step 3: Select the relevant TAG
Step 4: Scroll to ‘Alert Sound’
Step 5: Toggle on/off ‘Separation Alert on Tag’ and ‘Separation Alert on Phone’

I am having trouble connecting my Letstrack TAG. 

If you are having difficulty connecting your TAG to your device, check the following:

  • Your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Your location settings are turned on correctly.
  • Your device's software is up to date.
  • This will ensure your device has the latest Bluetooth support.
  • You have the latest version of the Letstrack app. These updates often contain stability issue corrections and enhancements that resolve a majority of reported issues.

How do I talk to my Letstrack TAG? 

The Letstrack app is compatible with all major voice command services.  You can create bespoke demands within the device’s settings.

What type of ways can I find my TAG?

The Letstrack TAG has various finding features. You can:

1. Ring your TAG from the Letstrack app when it is within Bluetooth range. 
2. View the last known location of your TAG using the map on the Letstrack app. 
3. Enable ‘mark as lost’ to enlist the help of the Letstrack TAG community to locate your TAG. 
4. If you can't hear your TAG ring, the Letstrack app will cycle through a traffic light system indicting whether it is ‘close to you’, ‘very close to you’, ‘far away from you’ or ‘disconnected’.
5. Use the voice command function (Siri) on your smartphone to find your TAG.

How can I find my phone with my TAG? 

You can use your TAG to find your phone only when it is connected to the TAG via Bluetooth, it’s within range, and the ‘Find My Phone’ option is enabled (by selecting the relevant TAG and toggling ‘Find my phone’ on /off). You may have to move between rooms depending on property size and wall thickness. 
1. Hold the button on your TAG for 3 seconds to activate an alert sound
2. Your phone will start ringing and you'll see a notification 
3. To stop the ringing, you can either click on the notification, open the app or press the volume down button once on your phone.

How do I transfer a Letstrack TAG to someone else?

You can easily delete the TAG from your device by selecting the relevant TAG, scrolling down to ‘edit your Letstrack TAG’ and then selecting the ‘Delete This TAG’ option at the bottom of the screen.  This will then enable a new user to register the TAG on their device.

Is my TAG waterproof?

Yes, the Lestrack TAG is splash proof.

What is a touchTAG?

Letstrack’s touchTAG is a smart ID tag which links to a person/pet profile via a scannable QR code. When someone scans your touchTAG, they are shown the owners contact details and can instantly notify the owner of their exact location.

How do I add a touchTAG to the app?

Follow these simple steps to add your touchTAG to the app:
Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen
Step 3: Select ‘QR TAG’
Step 4: Select ‘TouchTAG’
Step 5: Scan the QR code
Step 6: Select what the touchTAG will be used on
Step 7: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the set up

What information is shown on the pet profile?

The free version allows the user to add their basic details such as contact details and pet name and breed. Letstrack Premium allows the user to add more in-depth information such as pet allergies, medical information, vet and microchip details.

What information is on a person’s profile?

The free version allows the user to add their basic carer contact details. Letstrack Premium allows the user to add more in-depth information about the person, such as allergies, medical information, doctors’ details etc.

How do I update a profile?

Step 1: Open Letstrack App
Step 2: Click on ‘TAGS’ at the bottom of the screen 
Step 3: Select the TAG that you wish to update
Step 4: Select ‘Edit’ and navigate your way through the pages to update any information.

Are TouchTAG’s waterproof?

Yes! They are made from aluminium and resin, making them 100% waterproof.

Does the finder need to be a Letstrack customer?

Nope, the finder does not need to be a Letstrack customer or have our app to scan your item. They simply open their camera and scan the QR code to reveal your personalized profile details.

Do touchTAG’s require batteries?

Not at all. They work by scanning a QR code, so no batteries or electrics are required.

Can this device be installed in any vehicle?

Yes, our vehicles trackers can be installed in all ranges of vehicles. 

Will this device interfere with my vehicles electronic systems?

No, the device installation is completely different and has got nothing to do with the electronic system of vehicles.

Is this device harmful for my vehicle/ battery or will it create any problem for my vehicle's warranty?

No, this device is not harmful for your vehicle/ battery and also does not conflict with the vehicle's warranty. 

Where will this device be installed in my vehicle?

This depends on the model/type of device selected and the model & type of vehicle to be installed in. Good practice is for the device to be hidden as much as possible, usually within the dashboard of the vehicle.

What should I do when facing a problem with the device?

We provide a centralized online help desk, which resolves all the problems faced by the customer.

What is remote immobilization?

Certain devices allow the user to immobilize their vehicle directly via the app.  This feature is only available in certain countries.

How to add a device? 

To add a device in your Letstrack mobile app, follow the following steps:

Step 1: Open the Letstrack App.
Step 2: Click on 'Vehicles' on the bottom row of the home screen.
Step 3: Click on the + button
Step 4: Enter the device IMEI number found on the device box.
Step 5: Click ‘Done’ and your device will be added to the app.

Can I track multiple devices with one account?

Yes, you can track multiple devices to your Letstrack account. Please follow the above steps to add additional devices.

Is the APP compatible with all devices?

Of course, the Letstrack App is compatible with all the devices that we offer.

What is the device Warranty policy?

All our tracking devices come with a 12-month warranty policy. In the unlikely event that you do have a problem, please email us at support@letstrack.com.

What happens if I sell my vehicle?

There are various options available if you sell your vehicle, including device removal, allocating the device to a new owner or device deactivation.

What should I do if I require assistance?

Will I have to install the mobile app to track my device?

Yes, to track your vehicles and enjoy the features of Letstrack, you need to install the free Letstrack app.

How much time it will take to install the device?

Depending on the device type and vehicle, the time taken to install a device is between 30 min to 1 hour.

Where will I check the location of my vehicle?

Once you have added the device to the app, you can check your vehicle location as follows:

Step 1: Open the Letstrack app.
Step 2: Select your vehicle on the home screen to view your last location and tracking history.

Do I have to buy a sim card?

All Letstrack devices are supplied with a locked sim card.

What is the coverage range of device connectivity?
